8 years of fuel-free power from a micro nuclear reactor!

Ana sayfa / News

Small modular reactors (SMRs), which have the potential to revolutionize the energy sector, have attracted increasing attention in recent years. The eVinci microreactor developed by Westinghouse Electric is one of the most promising designs in this field. It stands out with its structure specially designed for artificial intelligence centers.

Nuclear power company Westinghouse Electric has taken an important step to commission its eVinci microreactor design. Accordingly, it submitted a Preliminary Safety Design Report to the US Department of Energy. The report, submitted to the National Reactor Innovation Center, will enable eVinci to conduct microreactor experiments.

eVinci is a modular nuclear reactor specifically designed for applications such as data centers. With a planned output of 5 megawatts of electricity, the reactor is designed to operate for more than 8 years without refueling. Thanks to its innovative design, it can reach the site as a single unit. In this way, it is also very easy to transport and install.

YouTube solved the problem that worried users!

The YouTube problem, which has been occupying both the art and the internet community for about a week, has been finalized.

With the growth of artificial intelligence applications, the power needs of data centers have increased. Data centers can consume more electricity than the average home, raising concerns about the grid’s capacity to support AI use. Microreactors like eVinci offer an alternative to these concerns.
